How to install Xampp on Windows 32/62 bit

Don't forget to read the previous article, namely> Beginner Programming Guide.

If in the previous chapter you already know the meaning and function of Xampp, then in this tutorial I will discuss how to install Xampp.

As I previously informed that Xampp is a free software, you can download it at: https://www.apachefriends.org/index.html

Here's how it looks:

You can download according to your QS, if you are using Windows OS then you choose the Windows one. If you have successfully downloaded it, you can install it according to the instructions below:

The picture above, is the Xampp software file that has been successfully downloaded.

Please double click the xampp version 5.6.30.

If a message appears as above, please click OK

Click Next

In the image above, you can uncheck some of the applications or tools that you don't want. For example you don't need Tomcat, don't need Perl language and so on.

If you have click Next

In the image above, by default it will be installed on the C: \ xampp drive, you can also replace or install it on the D: \ xampp drive (so that if you re-install, the data on the xampp is not lost)

Click Next

Click Next Again

If the image above appears, please wait for the installation process to run.

If it appears as shown above, it means that the install is complete or successful. You just click Finish.

Next, you have to do the testing as shown above, please run Apache and MySQL. If it is green as shown above, then you have successfully installed Xampp on your computer.

By default Xampp will install to Drive C, you can change it to Drive D, so that when your OS has a problem, data on Xampp is not lost. Then you can find out how to create databases and tables in the next article.
